Exploring the highs of love and sex and the lows of heart-break and addiction, The Love Era is an eclectic collection of songs from the past three years.

‘It’s no coincidence it was given the name The Love Era,’ says drummer Sam. ‘It’s a collection of songs that all express the different formats of love. Passion, lust, nostalgia, pain. They are all there. We thought we would make a record that has a concept and what concept could be more relatable than love?’

Opening track ‘Close To You’ boasts a 70s funk vibe, making it a strong opener.

Meanwhile, closing track ‘Cold Hands’ is a powerful, guitar and piano driven ballad. Lead singer Jay Smith’s vocals are soulful and effortless, complimenting the track perfectly.
