The Manchester based, 10-piece EDM/Urban collective, have epitomised that Friday feeling, with their new single ‘Carnival’.

The intention of ‘Carnival’ is to celebrate the memories and party feeling of finishing up work and hanging out with friends; listening to good music.

Lyrics like: “I gotta drive to the city where the party resides, with the sun in the sky yeah were jammin tonight”, combined with calypso dance beats and big brass sections, it’s a sure win as a summer anthem- particularly with this boiling heatwave we’ve had recently.

The track also features Jamaican artist Trixxy Bang; adding another diverse edge to their sound.

From the first few brass notes you’ll find it impossible to not get up and get ‘skanking’.

It was also mixed by Grammy award winner Paul Norris, who has worked with mega-stars Ed Sheeran and Rhianna, so you know it’s a smooth finish.

The Mood’s are a ten-piece collective of poets, producers, and musicians from the North West of England. The band
have been described as a ‘grime soufflé’, because of how they fuse: reggae, rap, hip-hop, EDM, brass and strings, and drum and bass, into a full and intricately designed fresh sound.

Carnival will be released by A1M Records Ltd on July 20th 2018.
